At a review hearing on 9 January 2025, the Interim Orders Committee continued the suspension on Ms Symes's registration for the remainder of the 18 month order. The order was originally imposed on 25 September 2023. This interim order is due to expire on 24 March 2025 and the GDC will be applying to the High Court for an extension of it. In the event that such an application is granted, the order will be reviewed in accordance with the GDC's statutory requirements.
